Project Overview:
For Trapperaid, I led the UX design of the web platform, ensuring users clearly understood the purpose of the platform and who it was for. I began with UX research, interviewing individuals involved in Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) to identify key needs. I created low-fidelity wireframes and tested them over Zoom, iterating based on feedback. The final high-fidelity wireframes focused on clear registration, easy account creation, and straightforward access to essential services - including finding a trapper, locating holding spaces, managing fundraising accounts, and checking balances. I designed the full platform structure in Figma, ensuring responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
The TrapperAid platform was designed to support the Trap‑Neuter‑Return (TNR) community by providing a suite of essential, user‑focused features that make it easy for independent trappers, small nonprofit leaders, and community volunteers to find and access services, manage their work, and stay connected.

Project Research:
I conducted surveys and interviews with trappers, independent cat rescuers, and small non-profit frontrunners to understand their needs, workflows, and challenges in Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). I also researched needs in community cat care, fundraising, and service coordination to evaluate how a platform could best support them.
Insights from this research informed the platform’s design, ensuring users could easily register, access essential services, manage fundraising accounts, and connect with trappers or holding spaces - creating a clear, user-friendly experience for the cat rescue community.
